Please enjoy landscape artist Armand Caruso’s delightful painted eggs. Armand Caruso resides in Revere Massachusetts and became a full-time landscape artist after a successful career in fine arts and graphic design. He uses pastoral scenes and sweeping mountain and river views in his delicate paintings on our Pete & Gerry’s Eggs. He sees his work on the eggs as a way of making,
” a connection between nature and how fragile it is and to show the connection between the egg and how wholesome they are.The landscapes show natures beauty and they bring back a time when all was natural as are the eggs (which he uses as his canvas)”
Here is the Armand Caruso’s Artist Statement which details a bit more about how he got started with his love for the arts:
My artwork is inspired by nature and the
beauty of the world we inhabit.
I have been drawing and painting since I was a child
I try to paint everyday because it is the most fulfilling work I have ever done.
It is so rewarding too when I capture nature and all its colorful beauty.
Keeping in touch with nature also gives me a sense of being part of the earth.
We are all part of the earth and we need to support those who protect it.
We need to be diligent and always aware of our environment to protect it and keep
us connected to nature and the earth we live in, not only now
but also for future generation to enjoy.
