Monroe, NH – Trade Marketing Manager – $90k-$120k salary and bonus

We’re seeking an experienced Trade Marketing professional in the consumer packaged goods industry to take full ownership of a trade marketing program. This position reports to the VP of Marketing and works from our Monroe, NH headquarters. This is a new position responsible for developing, implementing, monitoring and sustaining an aligned trade marketing strategy for sales, marketing and operations, ensuring that results align with business goals.

  • Analyze market research to generate actionable retail analytics (point of sale, consumer survey data, and market information including IRI)
  • Reports on analytics via periodic presentations and publishing of routine dashboards
  • Develop promotional tactics and presentations for key accounts
  • Train sales force to present detailed analysis for key retailers and customers
  • Work with sales team and brokers to develop, launch and measure the effectiveness of promotions, product launches and category performance. Report back on results with recommendations for actions based on findings
  • Develop, manage, and measure effectiveness of slotting strategies
  • Facilitate and contribute to sales, marketing and operations meetings, providing insight and recommendations for tactical and strategic initiatives to align sales, marketing and operations strategy
  • Develop business plans and quotas which align production output and inventory management with sales demand to achieve sales goals
  • Understand and ensures that ERP system is aligned with sales and marketing plans
  • Utilize distributor data to calculate weeks on hand inventory
  • Work with sales, marketing and operations teams to develop, monitor and re-assess actionable plans which ensure performance to forecast
  • Monitor sales performance and provide reporting to finance department on performance to budget
  • Own, maintain, and continuously improve trade marketing system (Rosetta Stone)

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s preferred
  • 3+ years’ related experience in CPG industry
  • Excellent communications, training and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical skills including proficiency with business intelligence tools and software
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software
  • Experience analyzing, interpreting and reporting on sales and consumer data including IRI
  • Strong project management skills
