Before the tour, it’s very important to clarify that these are real farms. What that means is that they represent the livelihood of a small family and that we have to avoid any potential risk to our flocks. The biggest risk we face is disease that can be innocently carried onto the farm via clothing or shoes. So we will ask all visitors a few important questions about their potential exposure to disease vectors and a few other things, to make sure we are carefully protecting our farms by following the best safety protocols.
