Greencastle, PA – Production Positions 1st Shift

We currently have open positions for production workers that would assist in various departments where needed.  These departments include:

Case Out:  Responsible for palletizing finished cartons for product on the clean side of the processing plant.

Line Packer:  Responsible for placing packaged eggs into final shipping cases and may be assigned to other similar jobs in the egg processing facility. Duties include final in-process inspection and ensuring that the correct product is being packaged into the proper cases and onto proper pallets.

Monroe, NH – Night Sanitation

We’re seeking candidates for a night shift sanitation position in our production department.

This position is primarily responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all processing equipment, floors and drains on a nightly basis.  Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and follow verbal and written instructions.

  • Follow established sanitation procedures.

Monroe, NH – Quality Assurance Technician

Overall Responsibility: 

This position is primarily responsible for the hands-on monitoring of processes and product to ensure compliance with the Company quality programs, including HACCP, SQF, SOP’s and Good Manufacturing Practices.

Key areas of Responsibility: 

  • Perform and document plant inspections per Pre-Operative Sanitation Checklist, recording any noted deficiencies
  • Form blending plan for runs based on availability of product and materials
  • Set parameters on machine for optimum quality
  • Maintain and record egg characteristics for organic and cage free runs
  • Obtain and record lay dates as needed by packing personnel
  • Clear lot swaps on grader
  • Monitor sanitation and verify cleans regularly
  • Ensure crack lanes are sprayed down on a continuous basis
  • Ensure that Foam It machines are filled on a daily basis for night crew personnel
  • Take samples routinely throughout the day and adjust settings per flock age and shell quality
  • Assist with Food Safety Training and enforcement of procedures
  • Maintain current knowledge of SQF code and applications
  • Assist with research for reference materials
  • Communicate counts and any changes to different crews
  • Assist with audit expectations and compliance

Monroe, NH – Supply Chain Manager

The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for the continuous improvement of the supply chain network and planning systems with the goal of increased visibility, flexibility and efficiency.

  • Work with Sales, Logistics, and Production to ensure that customer orders are fulfilled in a manner which optimizes company assets and personnel while meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
  • Manages flock schedules/egg supply to best match expected demand through advanced scenario planning and systems based forecasting.
  • Manages the efforts of a 3-6 member supply chain team to fulfil company and departmental strategies and initiatives.
  • Develop, improve and support supply chain strategies, and move those strategies forward with focus on supply chain visibility.
  • Works with QA team to continuously improve the quality of the raw materials through maintenance and development of the egg quality processes.
  • Manages the daily planning schedules for all company owned facilities and co-packers.
  • Continuously improve the planning function and extend the planning window for all facilities.
  • Work with the Materials Manager to develop appropriate replenishment policies, and to systematize and automate replenishment transactions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, advanced degree preferred
  • 2+ years’ management experience in supply chain or operations

Overall Responsibility:

As the Pete and Gerry’s corporate librarian, the Document Control Specialist will be the gate keeper and compliance officer for the Document Control process. This team member will administer the document life-cycle (author, approve, publish, revise, retire, archive, communicate) for all sites and departments. The function defines standards and workflows for document management as well as leads the collection, authoring, publication, storage and retrieval of documents.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Administer the document lifecycle (author, approve, publish, revise, retire, archive) for all departments. Documents in scope of control include but are not limited to: policies, procedures, work instructions, forms, job descriptions, certifications, environmental test results, contracts, calibration records, corrective action plans, and system verifications.
  • Assist in development of and adherence to electronic document templates and data standards.
  • Work as gate keeper for published documents maintaining 100% accuracy.
  • Assist in development and maintenance of Controlled Documents search database.
  • Work with subject matter experts in each area, accomplishing clear communication, regular updates, suggestions on improvements and continued education of search tool.
  • Assist in development of corporate records retention policy.
  • Prepare records for inactive storage according to records retention policy; save and maintain documents as needed to perform distribution and storage duties.
  • Administer document processes and systems to ensure control and availability of documentation to all users.
  • Adhere to standardized Controlled Document work flow and make suggestions for adjustments as business develops.

  • Work with customers, sales team, logistics and planning to schedule delivery appointments which are acceptable to the customer and the supply chain team.
  • Support the warehouse teams by arranging transportation schedules that ensure efficient warehouse operations.

As an integral member of the Business Intelligence and Supply Chain teams, the Strategic Operations Analyst (SOA) will be responsible for supporting Operation’s efforts to improve our supply chain by using data-driven analytics to propose new approaches, improve our supply chain network, and develop new business strategies. The SOA shall develop the production planning systems and people to meet the growing needs of the organization.

  • Develop, improve and support supply chain strategies, and move those strategies forward.
  • Employ analytical capabilities to create supply chain models that optimally balance resource utilization with customer order fulfillment.
  • Continuously improve the planning function and extend the planning window for all facilities.
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPI’s) for inventory, logistics, and supply chain.
