Monroe, NH – HR Coordinator

The Human Resources Coordinator is a hands-on representative of the Human Resources department whose job is to help facilitate and provide administrative support for all basic Human Resources functions.

  • Assist in recruitment and screening for non-exempt positions
  • Payroll processing
  • Update and maintain Human Resources Management Systems data
  • Facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding
  • Support employee training and development objectives by monitoring training needs, updating systems, coordinating training plans and retaining requisite records
  • Provide administrative support of HR Policy and Health and Safety initiatives
  • Benefit administration including eligibility meetings and enrollments
  • Monitor, coordinate and maintain records of performance management system
  • Provide support to employees to help resolve questions or connect them with appropriate resources
  • Maintains electronic bulletin boards, internal postings and other employee communication tools
  • Recordkeeping and filing
  • Gather information and conduct research as needed
  • Process incoming HR-related mail
  • Creates and generates reports from various systems
  • Inspect HR systems and records such I-9 documents, training records, and personnel files
  • Respond to requests from outside parties including employment verifications, unemployment verifications, child support orders, and other administrative inquiries
  • Draft memos and documents
  • Support employee and community events and activities
  • Coordinates and participates in meetings, including recording of minutes

Qualifications & Requirements

  • High School degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2 years’ related HR experience or equivalent combination of training and experience
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Familiarity with basic HR regulations
  • Good interpersonal, relationship building and customer service skills
  • Excellent communications skills verbally and in writing
  • Demonstrated training and presentation skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proven decision-making and judgment skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of team
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Open and honest communicator

Physical Requirements

Sit/stand for 8+ hours per day

  • Lifting up to 25 pounds
  • Repetitive keyboarding
  • Travel less than 10%
