Monroe, NH – Shipper/Receiver

Overall Responsibility   The shipping and receiving crew is responsible for all work related activities in the shipping and receiving cooler. The crew is also responsible for communication and support of the loader crew, communication and support of the line workers and box taper crews and all cooler related activities. The crew must work independently from communications relating to the days production needs either from the Shipping and receiving Manager, QA Manager, Plant Manager and/or the Production and Operations Manager.

The crew must be prepared to change direction per customer or internal changes and/or requirements to satisfy processing needs.  Any deviations from the requirements checklist must meet approval from authorizing Manager.  Any deviations from any food safety procedure must meet approval from the Quality Assurance Manager.

Key areas of Responsibility

  • Stock and stage eggs for daily production
  • Move finished product from production to warehouse
  • Build partial pallets for shipment
  • Rotate inventory
  • Accurate and timely completion of forms and documents
  • Inspect, load and unload trailers
  • Daily housekeeping to maintain a clean and orderly workplace
  • Operate electric pallet jacks
  • Comply with quality and health and safety requirements
  • Report any food safety issues to any Manager
  • Follow all workplace safety procedures per safety training
  • Other duties as assigned


  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in a production environment preferred
  • Ability to obtain electric pallet jack certification.
  • Attention to detail

  • Strong work ethic
  • Good communication skills

Physical Requirements

  • Frequent lifting 35-50 pounds
  • Stand/walk 10 hours per day
  • Repetitive reaching motion with both arms
  • Frequent grasping with hands and fingers
  • Frequent bending and stooping
