Up-cycle for Mother’s Day

Pete & Gerry's Heirloom Eggshell Mosaic Box

Mother’s Day is coming up on May 13th so why not think about “Up-Cycling” this year and making something for Mom out of things right from the kitchen.  Lyn Colwell of Celebrate Green Blog has created a one of a kind mosaic gift box using the beautiful pastel blue shells from our Heirloom Ameraucana hens.  Also, cleverly up-cycled to make this beautiful heirloom mosaic box were boxes, that once held Tea, coffee filters and even package wrappers. This environmentally friendly craft is a perfect project to make with your kids to celebrate mom!

Pete and Gerry’s Organic Eggs not affected by egg recall!

Over 200 million eggs have been recalled recently by another company due to a concern over Salmonella stemming from a single Rose Acre Farms location in North Carolina.

None of our eggs are part of this recall as we would never produce eggs on a factory farm of that size or style. If you’re concerned about eggs you purchased recently, see what brands have been recalled.

Pete and Gerry’s Organic Eggs are produced responsibly and safely on small family farms. Learn more about why our eggs are different.
